What’s Marker?
In short, an innovative series of workshops that fuse creativity and technology in a hands-on way to empower participants to create new ideas.
What’s On?
In this starting series we are focusing on media related workshops, from Social Media master classes to microprocessor technology with Arduino.
What’s Next?
Good question! We have plans for many more courses (like 65 or so) but would love you to drop us a note about anything you’d like to see us tackle as well.

About

Created in 2011, Marker is an innovative public programme of hands-on, design and technology focused workshops based at AUT University’s City Campus in Auckland’s city centre. Designed for those who want to understand how to use technology creatively, extend and develop skills in new areas and to access experts, ideas and cutting edge facilities, each workshop in the Marker programme takes a project based approach so you learn through doing.

Run through AUT’s Design and Creative Technologies Faculty, Marker workshops cover areas of Art and Design, Communication, Computing and Mathematical Sciences, Engineering and Creative Technologies giving you the opportunity to learn a unique set of skills, meet creative people and stay [or get] creative.
